The Clé Club is but a current incarnation of a tradition that stretches far into the past and the future. We mourn those who have left us, we miss their company and their songs, tunes and stories. However, we see their spark in each other and we anticipate it in those who have yet to be born.
A tradition lives as long as there are people to continuously reinvent it, but every new outlook takes cognisance of each contribution that lead it to this point even as we take it further.
Let us never forget those who went before.
